Movie Review: Spartan

Are you kidding me? What a horrendous schlock-fest. Wooden dialogue,terrible production, garbage plot. I've seen 70s pornos with better
plots! And did they even consider hiring a military advisor? How much could
haircuts and uniforms that fit the actors (who are supposed to be
playing characters in the military) possibly cost? Hell, a Cub Scout
den mother or mailman could have done a better job than whatever idiot
they hired and didn't listen to! And a 40-ish year old Master Gunnery Sergeant played by Val Kilmer?
All the ones I ever ran into looked like 100-year-old pieces of boiled
leather that were chewed on and crapped out by a pack of bulldogs. I tried to find a portion of this that was worth watching, but I had
no luck. This film needs to be excised from existence. Val must have really needed the money. F-
